WELCOME TO WHERE, NOW?
The centre of the HAKRO world is Schrozberg, which is located in the district of Schwäbisch Hall in the Hohenlohe-Franconia region of Baden-Württemberg. If you think that there is nothing going on in this quiet little town, then we have to tell you that you're mistaken. This is where 150 people work hard day after day, developing our styles, checking quality, advising our customers and dispatching goods to retailers throughout Europe.
A MAN OF HIS WORD
Harry Kroll was a businessman who opened a clothes shop here in 1969. His plan was to sell clothes that were not only beautiful, but also long-lasting. However, clothing that met his high standards was hard to find—even then. Dissatisfied with what was available on the market, he began to produce his own textiles—with the firm intention of doing everything better.
NEVER SATISFIED SINCE 1969
A lot has happened since then. Harry Kroll became HAKRO. The little clothes shop became an internationally active corporate fashion business with a giant warehouse and distribution network.
Harry Kroll's daughter Carmen has held the company reins since 2003, managing the HAKRO business together with Thomas Müller. There's one thing she was born with: HAKRO's consistently high standards. Today, you can still see and feel that we continue to keep the promise of our founder to always do better every last (lovingly stitched and interwoven) detail. And we will continue to do so in future—always making things better.
