Our HAKRO quality management is certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 norm. ISO 9001 is the most important standard in quality management, both nationally and internationally. It provides the basis for our continuous internal improvement process.

We are a member of the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles. This alliance is made up of the Federal government, industry, NGOs, trades unions and standard organisations. Together, the alliance partners want to achieve social, ecological and economic improvements right along the textile delivery chain.

In 2009 we signed the "Global Compact of the United Nations", and in doing so joined the world's biggest alliance for responsible business practices. The Ten Principles of the Global Compact set the standards for compliance with human rights and the implementation of international working principles, care for the environment, the fight against child labour, and preventing corruption.

Since 2021, HAKRO is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation. As an internationally recognised multi-stakeholder initiative, it reviews textile companies and their working conditions in production facilities in accordance with the Fair Wear Foundation Code of Labour Practices. In an annual Brand Performance Check, HAKRO is reviewed on the audits carried out and the measures derived from them to ensure social justice in production. The results of it are published on www.fairwear.org. HAKRO also reports annually on the progress made with HAKRO production partners.
